Prof. Dr. Radu Prejbeanu is an orthopedic-traumatology primary care physician sub-specializing in prosthetic knee and hip surgery and sports medicine. He is also a University Orthopedics Professor at “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara.
With an experience of over 16 years, Dr. Prejbeanu joined REGINA MARIA in 2019 as Medical Director of Premiere Hospital in Timișoara.
Prof. Dr. Radu Prejbeanu underwent a number of sub-specialization classes abroad, taking part in over 100 international conferences and training classes in the United States, Austria, Greece, Germany and Italy.
Prof. Dr. Radu Prejbeanu is one of the best-known orthopedics-traumatology specialists in Romania. His activity is recognized both nationally and internationally. Over the years he has been part of prestigious associations and institutes. Having published 16 volumes in Romania and abroad, his research activity translated in over 100 specialized works and 150 articles published in collective volumes of international and national conferences.
His surgical experience is vast, ranging from simple surgical interventions to complex tumor reconstructions, having performed over 8,000 surgeries, 4,000 of which at knee level (arthroscopies, ligament reconstructions, endoprosthetic surgeries).
