Building healthier communities – our commitment

Medical support to vulnerable communities

We have made a strong commitment to bring Regina Maria’s leading quality medical services in support of the vulnerable communities of Romania. We are partners with several NGOs such as Asociatia Casa Buna, Teach for Romania or United Way through which we are contributing to a healthier community.

Only in 2023, in collaboration with our partner NGOs, we advanced our medical caravans project. These mobile units, equipped to perform medical examinations, ultrasounds, and laboratory tests, provided essential healthcare to 1,000 children from underserved communities—many of whom were seeing a doctor for the first time.

This project exemplifies our commitment to bridging the healthcare gap, having successfully doubled the number of beneficiaries and delivering services valued at over 1 million lei in 2023. The impact of these 13 medical caravans was amplified by the dedication of around 200 volunteers, including approximately 50 doctors, who played a crucial role in bringing healthcare to those who need it most.
