HR Director

She joined the REGINA MARIA Group in 2014 as HR Director, having been entrusted with the mission of consolidating the company’s organizational culture in line with the values promoted by its Board and making it more efficient and change-friendly.

She took over a team of 7 and turned it into today’s division employing over 100 people which, day by day, oversee dozens of innovative organizational development projects that promote the company’s strategic goals, with a visible impact both inside and outside the company. The latest and most ambitious project Irina is coordinating is the first private nursing school in Romania – the European Nursing Academy, developed in partnership with Coventry University in the UK. It is a project aimed at changing the status of nurses in Romania by training new generations of leaders in the field of medical nursing. Applicants will enroll in an educational model where 75% of their university time will be devoted to medical practice, having constant access to the latest technologies and international standards of training.

Irina has accumulated over 22 years in management, 18 of which she spent in strategic HR management. She successfully implemented HR strategies and projects with major organizational impact in companies from various sectors (Banking, FMCG, Pharma).

She is a graduate of the Automation and Computer Science Faculty (Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest), specializing in Evolved Driving Systems. She holds a certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from ASEBUSS. Her expertise covers the implementation of strategic human resources management, change management, situational leadership, Hogan Assessment, organizational design, with a background in process and system optimization.

She previously worked as HR Director at Libra Bank, the distribution division of Philip Morris and Centrofarm.
